Now let's make some more 3d bead animals! I hope you'll enjoy making these animals as much as i enjoyed creating them.
Christmas special
The beaded sea turtle
The turtle comes out really tiny if you do it with 2,5mm beads. You'll need about 50cm of string to make it.
If you are still quite new to 3d beading and feel like you need some help with making the legs of the turtle, you can download this pdf file, where you can find some explanations with photos. I hope it will be helpful.

And if you like this bead turtle, here's one idea for you. A bracelet with sea turtles kissing. Or if you make it a bit longer you can have a cute bead anklet for the summer.
For this one you'll need 120cm of string.

The beaded owl
This owl is one of the "pencil buddies". It's supposed to be put on a pencil. If you like the idea, check out the other ones - rabbits and cat.
A tip: usually you start making bead animals from the head, from the top, but start making "pencil buddies" from the bottom.
You'll need about 70cm of string to make this bead owl.

You can use a crystal bead or a pony bead for the tail, whichever you like better.
You can find explanation how to make the tail in the pdf file. There's also a pdf file about making the ears. |
